Common questions
Can I try anything before talking to you?
Yes — the demo walkthrough runs through a real SN2 alkylation end-to-end across every tool, with no signup. It's the fastest way to see whether ScaleChem fits your kind of chemistry.
Can I sign up directly?
You can create an account, but it stays in pending status until we've had a short conversation. The conversation is mostly so we can configure your first campaign properly and set expectations on scope — we'd rather start you with a working setup than drop you into a blank workspace.
Why no posted prices?
Because the right scope for a 3-chemist medicinal-chemistry group and a 30-person CDMO are very different, and a posted price for either would be wrong for the other. We'd rather scope honestly than under-deliver against a list price.
Can I use the Optimizer and the Suite together?
Yes — they share data. A reaction defined in the Suite's Reactions tool feeds straight into the Optimizer's variable picker, and optimizer results feed back into Yield at Scale, Heat Transfer, and TEA. The two products are the same platform; you can engage with both, either, or start with one and add the other.
What does Business Process Automation actually look like?
It's a custom-built service, not a self-serve product. We come in, map your current workflows (inventory, batch tracking, comms, handoffs, documentation), and build automations on top of what you already use — Slack, Google Sheets, your ELN, your LIMS. Typical first engagement: 4–8 weeks of design + build, then ongoing improvements as you find new bottlenecks.
Is my reaction data secure?
Your campaign data is stored on dedicated infrastructure. We don't train on your data, share it with other users, or sell it. See our Terms & Conditions for the full detail.
